Sohail Badar - Pakistan

Course: Masters in Networking, Digital Communication, Criminal Justice and Business Administration
Institution: Monash University
Location: Melbourne, Victoria

In today's modern life and rapidly growing globalisation environment, education plays a very important role and a globally renowned educational institute plays a vital role to place one in the fore front of the world's graduates and professionals.

I was born in a very historic city in the heart of Pakistan. After completing my basic education, I came to Australia for higher studies. I ended up doing three Masters from Monash University and one from RMIT University.

My experience studying in Australia was excellent. I would say that an Australian education will set you up in such a way that your skills and expertise will be highly valued by employers all over the world. It is a place where you can realise your potential, and perhaps beyond the levels you had ever dreamed. It also includes being well positioned to engage with real opportunities and challenges of the world. I have learned how to work as a team member, to communicated effectively with others and develop practical skills as well as rational abilities which is key to global success.

The Australian educational experience makes a real difference by providing a creativity and unique kind of education which encourages you to be inventive and to think as an individual. The teachers are friendly and very helpful. There are on campus services for international students to make them feel like they are back home and in semester breaks there are plenty of activities which are available off campus.

Australia provides a very vast, ever developing and exciting opportunity. It also offers a very motivated atmosphere for learning, research and innovation. It is a very safe country, where sport is very popular and people are friendly & caring.

I would highly recommend Australia for anyone that wants to come to study and I am sure they will love it!
