Hans T. Sy Jr. is the Vice President for SMEDD Corporation (SMEDD). SMEDD is also known as SM Engineering, Design and Development which is the retail design and construction delivery arm of SM Prime Holdings, the largest real estate developer in the Philippines.

Hans T. Sy Jr. is the Vice President for SMEDD Corporation (SMEDD). SMEDD is also known as SM Engineering, Design and Development which is the retail design and construction delivery arm of SM Prime Holdings, the largest real estate developer in the Philippines.

He currently handles all the design and construction related activities of the retail portfolio of the SM Group of Companies. The portfolio ranges from traditional retail assets such as Shopping Centers, Department Stores, Supermarkets and Boutiques to more specialized projects such as the Mall of Asia Arena, Religious and Educational Buildings and Logistics Infrastructure.

Hans Sy, Jr. holds a double undergraduate degree from the University of Melbourne. The first of which is a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) majoring in Civil Engineering and the second of which is a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing Management.
