About the speaker
"Professor Shuk Ying (Susanna) Ho joined the Australian National University in January 2008. She completed her PhD in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in November 2004. Her doctoral dissertation examined how web personalization influences the behaviour of online users and her current research portfolio reflects a continuing interest in this area. She started her academic career in the University of Melbourne in August 2004 as a lecturer. She received her promotion to a senior lecturer in 2006. In January 2008, Susanna joined the Australian National University as an associate professor. In October 2012, she was promoted to a full professor of information systems.
Professor Shuk Ying received the MIS Quarterly outstanding Associate Editor Award in 2018. She received the Information Systems Research Best Reviewer Award in 2010.
Professor Shuk Ying’s research focuses on the area of judgment and decision making, big data and data analytics, management turnovers and internal control material weaknesses, social media and corporate social responsibility."
