PT NS BlueScope Indonesia (formerly PT BlueScope Steel Indonesia) was formed in 1994. It is the pioneer and the largest zinc-aluminium coated steel manufacturer in Indonesia. The business commissioned its flat steel coating and painting facility in Cilegon in 1995. In 2013 BlueScope Indonesia formed joint venture between BlueScope Limited (based in Australia) and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC). This joint venture brought access to new technology and assisted in developing a broader range of customers. PT NS BlueScope Indonesia is now one of the prominent local manufacturers of zinc-aluminium metallic coated steel with a major investment in our manufacturing facility in Cilegon, Banten, we bring technology to Indonesia and invest in people to support Indonesia’s economic development.

Our facility has a production capacity of 250,000 tonnes per annum of coated steel which is distributed all over Indonesia. PT NS BlueScope Indonesia produces high quality ZINCALUME® steel, Clean COLORBOND® steel, ABADI®, KIRANA®, BlueScope Zacs™, PERISAI™, PERISAI™ Nectelite, CRP Antibacterial™, HRP Antibacterial™, CRP FoodGrade™. These products are supplied to customers for industrial, residential and other manufacturing applications. We take our responsibilities in the area of health and safety very seriously. Our health and safety management systems are a key factor in our decision-making processes, and we aspire towards a goal of Zero Harm to people.

Our products are used all over the world for iconic projects, including those in Indonesia such as Soekarno Hatta International Airport (Tangerang), ICE BSD (Serpong), Gudang Garam Function Hall (Kediri), DEO Airport (Sorong), etc. Not only are we committed to providing high quality coated steel material, but we are also making sure ourthat our products are installed properly. We have conducted training programs for installer in 15 cities for almost 1,000 construction workers.
