The Australian Government have announced changes for temporary visa holders, including students, who are working in the Agriculture sector.

The changes allow student visa holders to work more than the usual 40 hours per fortnight limit during semesters if they are working in the agriculture sector.

Temporary visa holders working in the agriculture sector will also be able to access the COVID-19 Pandemic Event visa up to 90 days before their existing visa runs out, up from 28 days, and no longer need to demonstrate an inability to depart Australia.

More information on the COVIID-19 Pandemic visa can be found on the Home Affairs website.

Harvest Trail Services can assist temporary visa holders to find harvest work.
