MoocLab world university rankings

The first edition of MoocLab's new ranking ranks over 200 universities across the world that offer courses on the three major MOOC platforms - Coursera, edX and FutureLearn, based on five criteria - number of MOOC offered, provision of learning pathways, micro-credentials, degrees and the institution’s average world ranking (THE, QS, ARWU).

World University Rankings by MOOC Performance 2020

MoocLab have released the first edition of their ranking of over 200 universities across the world that offer courses on the three major MOOC platforms - Coursera, edX and FutureLearn. The rankings are based on five criteria - number of MOOC offered, provision of learning pathways, micro-credentials, degrees and the institution’s average world ranking (Times Higher Education, QS Top Universities, Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)).

There are 17 Australian universities included in the new ranking, with Deakin University featuring in the world top 10 and 11 others in the world top 100.

In the top 100, Australia is the 2nd largest represented country after the US (38), and equal with the UK.
