Online and interactive English class to improve your language skills

About the speaker
"After completing a BA in English and a Diploma in Performing arts, Jenny worked for 10 years in theatre and television as an actor. In 2002 she undertook a CELTA and began a new career as an English language teacher. She taught children in Japan for a year in 2003.
Since returning to Melbourne, she has worked at Box Hill TAFE where she taught English for Academic Purposes to young adults from a range of Asian countries. She has also taught preliminary English to adult migrants of all ages and nationalities for the Adult Migrant Education Program at Preston TAFE.
Jenny began teaching at RMIT in 2007 and has enjoyed teaching across all levels from beginner to advanced plus. She completed a Graduate Diploma in TESOL in 2015 from the University of Technology in Sydney.
She is a qualified IELTS examiner and also works with healthcare professionals administering the Occupational English Test (OET). In her free time, Jenny enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with her husband and daughter."

Masterclass description:
The interactive demonstration lesson will highlight typical, online classroom activities that Latin American students can join. This will include an introduction to our online course materials, accessible to all enrolled students. The audience will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as discussion forums. There will be a focus on new language and participants will work on improving their English skills. The lesson will also champion the use of technology, to make classes fun and to enable greater student involvement.
