ID Card
Definition
Most institutions will issue students with an Identification Card (ID Card) that may be used at the library, for entry onto campus, using IT facilities, printing and photocopying. Some institutions allow you to load money on your card for use at institutional services. Your ID Card may also be used to gain student discounts at some stores and services (i.e. most cinemas offer a student price). You may also be asked for “photo ID” when entering a licensed premises like a bar, pub or club. You must be 18 to enter, and you will need identification with your birthday on it to prove this (such as a passport or drivers licence.)
