I really enjoyed the classes I took while studying abroad in Australia very much. My favourite class was introductory bioscience; the professor was funny, knew her material very well, and got me really interested in biology!

- Study in Australia 2010 video contest:
This year's video contest, "Australia: An unexpected adventure" is running from 5 July - 8 October. Qantas and STA travel have sponsored the program by donating the grand prize - two round-trip tickets to Australia!
- 2010-2011 Student Ambassador Program: 35 North American students have been accepted to the ambassador program and will be holding events to promote Australia as a quality education destination on campuses throughout the US and Canada during the academic year.

- Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) annual conference (20-23 October 2010) - Alberta, Canada: Study in Australia Education Manager, Jen Nielsen, will be presenting "Marketing Higher Education in the Americas" at this conference. Co-presenters for this session include: Peter Kerrigan, Deputy Director of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Sarah Dawbarn, Director (Quebec) at the British Council. This session will be chaired by Dr Alexandra Hausstein, Director of the DAAD Information Centre - Toronto.
- NAFSA Region VI conference (6-9 November 2010): Study in Australia Education Manager, Sarah Wolf, will be presenting "Engaging Returnee Students to Market Study Abroad" at this conference in Indianapolis.
- Council on International Educational Exchance (CIEE) annual conference (10-13 November 2010): Study in Australia Education Manager, Jen Nielsen, will be presenting at this conference in Philadelphia
