Australian University Rankings
Which university to choose? Australian University Rankings can help.
While Australia doesn't rank its universities the way some countries do, there are some compelling statistics that show just how great our colleges are compared to others around the world. In fact, many of the independent Australian university rankings we found ranked ours in their top 100.

- Seven Australian universities (out of 39) ranked in the top 100, and four ranked in the top 50
- 64 per cent of Australia's universities ranked in the top 500
According to the Times Higher Education's 2012-13 World University Rankings:
- Two Australian universities ranked in the top 50
- Eight Australia universities ranked in the top 200
According to the 2012 ARWU Ranking of World Universities:
- Five Australian universities ranked in the top 100
- Seven Australia universities ranked in the top 200
- 49 per cent of Australia's universities ranked in the top 500
What fields of research is Australia strong in?
