국제우수센터
호주 정부는 2004 년 다섯 개의 국제우수센터 (International Centres of Excellence) 설립을 위해 기금을 내놓았습니다.
국제우수센터는 호주의 과학, 교육 및 행정적 역량을 한 눈에 볼 수 있도록 하여 수준 높은 교육 제공자로서 호주의 명성을
국제적으로 확립하는 데 기여하고 있습니다. 국내외 전문기관과의 협력관계를 통해 본 센터는 호주의 기술적 기반과 탁월한 연구 역량을
강화하고 있습니다.
다섯 개의 센터는 다음과 같습니다.
아시아 태평양 연구및 아시아 태평양 외교 대학 분야 국제우수센터 (International Centre of Excellence in Asia Pacific Studies and the Asia-Pacific College of Diplomacy): 캔버라 호주국립대학교 (iceaps.anu.edu.au)에 소재
관광서비스교육 분야국제우수센터(International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education): 그리피스 대학교 (www.the-ice.org) 내 지속가능한 관광 협력 연구 센터 (Cooperative Research Centre in Sustainable Tourism)에 소재
수학 교육 분야 국제우수센터(International Centre of Excellence for Education in Mathematics): 호주수학과학협회에 의해 설립되었으며, 멜버른 대학교 (www.ice-em.org.au)에 소재
수자원관리 분야 국제우수센터(International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management): WaterEd Australia로 운영되는 8개의 대표적인 대학교 및 업계 회원들이 컨소시엄으로 설립되었으며, 애들레이드 대학교 (www.icewarm.com.au)에 소재
스포츠 과학 및 경영 분야 국제우수센터(International Centre of Excellence in Sports Science and Management): 시드니대학교, 시드니기술대학교, 시드니 올림픽공원공사 (Sydney Olympic Park Authority)의 제휴로 설립되었으며, 시드니 올림픽 공원 (www.icewarm.com.au)에 소재
