Jonathan describes the quality of the education he is receiving at his
Australian institution as “excellent.” He is certain that he could not
find the same high standard of education he is receiving in Australia
anywhere else.
A strong influence in Jonathan’s decision to study pharmacy in Australia
was the fact that Australia’s pharmacy courses are among the world’s
best. “Compared to all over the world, it’s definitely better as
Australia has one of the world’s best health care systems, including
pharmacy,” he says.
Financial considerations also played a part in Jonathan’s decision to
study in Australia. The fact that Australian courses are often more
affordable than the courses of many other countries was a big benefit to
Jonathan.
Jonathan’s Australian course is recognised across the globe, so he is
confident that he will be able to obtain a job in pharmacy once he
returns home to Malaysia.
Jonathan also feels that the pharmacy field back home in Malaysia will
benefit from recruiting graduates of Australian institutions. “The
education/knowledge and the professional development are definitely
better than what some UK or Asian universities can offer.”
As a fan of the lifestyle, environment, people and culture of Australia,
Jonathan also feels quite at home here and would definitely consider
further studies in the future.
