Provider Declaration

All institutions which are listed on AusLIST have agreed to the Provider Declaration. As part of this declaration, institutions must ensure the following:

  • lecturers, teachers and trainers must be appropriately qualified, and are given the support, education and training resources required to deliver and assess courses/qualifications to a standard comparable to those delivered in Australia;
  • students are provided with appropriate learning support services;
  • students and/or parents are provided with academic progress reports in a language other than English, if needed;
  • all students are made aware of and are provided with a fair, equitable and effective process for dealing with complaints, grievances and appeals;
  • the information provided to students on education and training activities, facilities and outcomes is accurately presented in marketing and promotional material; and
  • the institution’s operations outside of Australia are regularly reviewed, and that the information is used to improve their operations.
