Notice
Due to some recent changes on YouTube, we have had to make a few changes to our Oz video group. You can now find our group by clicking the hyperlink below or going to www.youtube.com and searching for ozvideocontest2 (it is now ozvideocontest2 instead of ozvideocontest). If you submitted a video to the original group, there is no need to upload it again. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at info.northamerica@aei.gov.au

The five winning entries will be featured on the Study in Australia
website as well as Myspace, Facebook, Youtube, etc.
Video Guidelines
Must be at least 1 minute long; a maximum of 3 minutes.
Video must incorporate all three Study in Australia brand themes:
Live – Cultural experiences or opportunities in Australia
Learn – Academic experiences or opportunities
Grow – As an individual
Live, Learn and Grow are very broad themes and are open to your interpretation. The content is up to you! Videos will be judged based on the following criteria:

Originality

Creativity
-
Quality
-
Humour or Heartwarming
Eligibility
Contest participants must be United States or Canadian citizens or permanent residents. There are no age restrictions (age 17 or under must have parental signature). Anyone who has studied in Australia, is thinking about studying in Australia, or simply has a general interest in Australia is eligible to submit a video.

Deadline
Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Friday, September 18th, 2009 and will be judged by a panel of Australian Embassy staff members. Winners will be contacted no later than September 25th and will be posted publicly on October 1st, 2009.
How to Enter
Fill out and sign the entry form and email it to info.northamerica@aei.gov.au by Friday, September 18th, 2009.
Upload your video to the Study in Australia Group page at:
www.youtube.com/group/ozvideocontest2
After the winning videos are announced those selected will be required to send their original high-resolution movie to us by email or post in either .AVI or .MOV formats. Please remember to keep your original file after uploading your video to YouTube!
