Study in Australia Video Contest Winners
Australian Education International is pleased to announce the winners of our Study in Australia: 2009 Video Contest! We were very impressed with the calibre  of videos we received, and appreciate all the hard work and creativity our contestants put into making this contest a success. In the end, we selected the videos we thought best incorporated all three Study in Australia brand themes. (1) Live – Cultural experiences or opportunities in Australia, (2) Learn – Academic experiences or opportunities, and (3) Grow – As an individual.
Grand Prize Winner: Blaven Jaramillo for Blaven's New Australia Video
Blaven studied at the University of Newcastle, and currently attends McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Blaven will be receiving two roundtrip plane tickets to Australia, compliments of STA Travel.
Second Place: Zach Grashin for Getcha Sunnies On
Zach studied at the University of Melbourne, and currently attends the University of Washington, in Seattle, Washington. Zach will be receiving a $500 travel voucher from STA Travel.
Third Place: Alyssa Pikons for Best Semester Ever
Patrick Miller for No Regrets, No Worries
Victoria Frobish for My Story of the Land Down Under
Alyssa Pikons studied at Macquarie University, and currently attends Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Patrick Miller studied advertising in Australia, through the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Victoria studied at the University of New South Wales, and currently attends the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, in Illinois.
All our third place winners will be receiving a 32GB Ipod Touch.
