1.  Is there a ranking system for Australian universities?

The Australian government does not rank its universities. Although there are no official ratings lists for universities, a number of commercial publications do rate universities and courses on a range of criteria.

2. What are the scholarships available for Malaysian students?

3. How can I find out which qualifications are recognised in Malaysia?

All Australian qualifications are recognised in the private sector. For recognition within the public sector, please consult with JPA. (http://www.jpa.gov.my/)

4. How do I apply for studies in Australia?

You can make applications directly to the institutions or alternatively you can process your application through Australian education representatives in Malaysia.

5.  Where do I sit for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or TOEFL exam in Malaysia?

You can sit for IELTS exam either in British Council Malaysia or IDP Education Australia. As for the TOEFL exam you can take it at Malaysia – American Commission of Educational Exchange (MACEE).

6. What is AEI Malaysia opening hours?     

AEI Malaysia is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The office holds general information on studying and living in Australia as well as calendars and handbooks of Australia's education and training providers, including application forms for individual education institutions. Visitors to the office can gain access to the Internet, and videos and CDs of a number of education institutions are available for viewing
